Legal Protection

The State Provincial Office holds a central position in the steering and monitoring of district enforcement authorities.

The State Provincial Office manages matters involving the interests of the state and also safeguards legal protection by deciding on cases of complaints. Furthermore, it handles duties related to certain permits and general administration, such as granting licences for collecting agencies in the whole country and monitoring their activity, payment depositions and servicing of wills and deeds of estate inventory abroad.

On petition, the State Provincial Office may order the convening of a Shareholders’ Meeting, or an extraordinary audit to be held in a limited company or association, thus promoting the legal protection of a minority. It also accepts for safekeeping the documents and securities required by the legislation on the sale of housing.
