Minister of Migration and European Affairs
Ms Thors deals with international matters and matters related to appointments and personnel administration that fall within her field of competence. She also directs financial planning and the preparation of budgets and other joint matters in her field. Additionally, Ms Thors handles matters covered by the Government Secretariat for EU Affairs and the Secretariat for the Finnish EU Presidency, excluding matters related to the European Council, amendments to the Treaties establishing the European Union and appointments related to the European Union that come within the mandate of the Prime Minister's Office. At the Ministry of Justice, Ms Thors handles matters concerning the Åland Islands.
